A Son, Jett Travolta

Published by lacrosse50 under Uncategorized Edit This

There is not a reason in this world why we prey on a young family. The death of a sixteen year old makes national news or a family grieving makes the news? Let the young boy rest in peace and leave the family to mourn in peace as well. Children die everyday and we pass it off, but a famous family suffers a death and we greet it with headlines and history.

The Christian News Network among others have made a sad story into major headlines. The Travotla tragedy has over shadowed the battle in Gaza. Are we so shallow that we must hear of celebrity death before world battles?

I am sickened by our need for information of the famous and sway away from news of those who truly suffer from AED’s and other grusome deaths. This is a sick world we live in when we can focus on one families loss and forget the hundred of heroes that have died for our freedom. Have heroes lost their souls to our interest in celebrities? Have Americans become so shallow and separated from the issues addressing many nations that we just do not care?

Society is plaqued with the fact of fame versus the ideals of freedom. The idiots in America will cheer a character and push off a hero. Americans have become a perverted society and have rejected all that this nation was founded upon. Raise all the questions you want about the Travolta family and remember that this is a family, not a hero. Look towards the big picture and let the world grow.
